At Ed Voyles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we take an immense level of pride in being an active member of the Marietta and Cobb County community. We regularly partner with local schools, civic organizations, and groups throughout Cobb County, Smyrna, Woodstock, Powder Springs, Acworth, Kennesaw, Dallas, and surrounding areas. Most recently, we have partnered with the Give Our Schools a Hand or GOSH program created by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce to demonstrate our appreciation and support for teachers.

What Is Give Our Schools a Hand Program?

Since 1988, the GOSH program has played an active role in showing appreciation for teachers throughout Marietta and Cobb County. In addition to showing appreciation for teachers, it also encourages other civic groups, businesses, and parents to take a more proactive role in bolstering educational quality.

Each year, the Give Our Schools a Hand program celebrates; and honors over 130 different Teachers of the Year. These teachers are spread throughout the Marietta area and Cobb County in two of our local school systems. The GOSH program delivers a much-needed salute to our educators and is one of the largest recognition programs in the United States.

Ed Voyles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is proud to be a sponsor of the 28th Give Our Schools a Hand event for the Teachers of the Year in Cobb County. Each year, more than 130 of the best, brightest, and most deserving educators receive recognition for their hard work and dedication.

GOSH commences with a Hand Print Unveiling of the Teachers of the Year within the Marietta City District and Cobb County District. These educators are honored with a print of their hand being memorialized in the Teacher Walk of Honor. This event is traditionally followed by a vibrant Pep Rally Celebration at Roswell Street Baptist Church where more than 2,000 students join to cheer on their favorite teacher.
