Power and Performance
There are three engines to pick from with the Jeep Wrangler. The base is a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Your other options in this Jeep SUV include:
- A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that puts out 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.
- A 3.0-liter V6 diesel that pumps out 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque.
- A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors that churns out 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.
A six-speed manual transmission comes standard, but an eight-speed automatic is available. The eight-speed automatic is standard with the turbo-four and diesel engines. The Jeep Wrangler really shines once it gets off the asphalt, as four-wheel drive is standard. You will also get skid plates and a two-speed transfer case.
This new Jeep comes in quite a few different varieties. The two-door version seats four and the four-door version has room for five. Cloth upholstery comes standard. Heated front seats, leather upholstery, and a heated steering wheel are available.
As for cargo, you will get 12.9 cubic feet behind the back row and 31.7 cubic feet when it’s folded. Standard tech features include:
