What's new with the 2011 Dodge Ram 1500?

Changes for the 2011 Ram truck include a new trim level, more standards safety features, increased towing ability and interior upgrades.

In addition the Ram 1500 gets a new Outdoorsman trim and a Longhorn edition trim. This new trim will be made available on the Ram 1500 and the Heavy Duty 2500 and 3500.  The outdoorsman edition combines both trailer towing hardware and off-road capability in one package.

In contrast to previous year?s Ram trucks, the 2011 edition gets an active on-demand transfer case.  This provides drivers with more torque transfer during slick conditions.  This comes standard on the Big Horn, Sport, and Laramie 4X 4 Trims. 

2011 brings four new exterior colors for the Ram truck:  Hunter Green Pearl Coat, Mineral Gray Metallic, Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl, and Light Graystone.
